🧵 If you have learned skills such as HTML/PHP etc for web design, don't do the mistake I made of neglecting them for a few years!

2/ I although I can still read and understand html code and make edits etc. I doubt now I could craft code from scratch. Which is why I found using https://www.perplexity.ai/ (or alternative) to improve on scripts I find that sort of achieve what I am trying to do.

3/ Sorry if my Github page has conflicting styles running through it. Used a free template, and edited and hacked content I wanted into it. Must take some time to correct the CSS styling I have broken in the process. ~~ 'Link to page at end of thread'

4/ Wasted some time today, trying to find an alternative to 'iframe' embeds, only to find out the method instructed used calls to 'json' files. If I have to go looking for them (and apply for api keys), might as well just use the embed scripts if any provided by the sites.

5/ Will link to my enquiries on the AI, at the end of thread. Don't know yet if https://bluesky-thread-composer.pages.dev/ which I'm using to post this thread has enabled links or tags yet.

6/ This thread is just some thoughts I felt like sharing, I'm sure having some fun trying to produce web pages. Regards John.
